Shamanic Dream Arts

"My inspiration comes from the land, wild and free places, stories and folklore, poetry, myth and legend. I strive to capture the hidden memory held within the landscape and spark rememberings that will connect us back to our deepest roots." - Hannah Willow. Bristish Handmade Jewelry.

The Hare has lavender jade and amethyst with and amber button to secure. On the side of the Hare it says: "Hare Moon"

Hare rider pendant with set opal and iolite beads. Inscribed on the back "I will run and run forever where the wild fields are mine" - British made jewelry by Hannah Willow. Wow!

Amanda Clark lives in a country village in England UK. She is mainly a self-taught artist and comes from an artist family. She was encouraged to paint from an early age by other artists.
Amanda gained a National Diploma in ceramics and surface pattern in the early 1990's, which helped her develop her use of .colour and pattern in her paintings. She also creates textiles, ceramics and art dolls.
Amanda has been able to resume a full-time professional career in painting and illustrating, and has collectors in the UK, Spain and Australia to date.

As an artist, Amanda is inspired by folklore and myths and the peacefulness of beautiful landscapes with a twist of fairytale and magic. She paints in acrylic and watercolour creating depth and pattern to the beautiful colours in her creations. She has also illustrated four books and is currently painting and line drawing for her 5th book about magical herbs. See her Earth Angels Art blogpage for details. http://earthangelsart.blogspot.com/
Amanda's paintings are a rich tapestry of colour inspired by the english countryside, myth and folklore.  Her paintings have an other worldly presence within a comtemporary style that are almost reminiscent of fairytales.
Amanda has collecters from the UK, America, France,Spain, Northern Europe and Australia.

Moonrakers

My last treasured discovery, Jane Starr Weils Art. She answered to me on facebook about her painting process: first, basic and fairly detailed pencil-drawing; then, with watercolors she creates a solid foundation for the many layers of prismacolor colored pencils that she applies on top, and that she likes so much for they help to achieve the deep rich colors she so loves! She doesn't usually use a blending solvent other than grabbing a lighter shade pencil to blend. Prisma color pencil also has a pencil that is labeled "blender" but mostly it's just to waxy so use a lighter shade as she said to blend. Plus when you work up many layers of these pencils, can almost blend them with your finger. For the basic pencil-drawing, she sometimes uses a 7B for the initial scribbling, and then, an HB or something similar to hone the details. Thank you x

And, of course, Jackie Morris Artist and her collectable watercolour paintings.
