Ostara Witch

Easter (the great Christian festival, which falls in April or the end of March, is an appropiation and adaptation of the ancient feasts held in the Teutonic Spring Goddess Eostre's honor among the Pagans) is celebrated the first Sunday after the first Full Moon (Paschal Full Moon) after the Vernal Equinox. That night took place a lunar festival that celebrated the return of the Spring Dawn Goddess Eostre to the Earth, whose chariot was accompanied by her sacred hares carrying torches. It was the Pagan Sabbat of Ostara. Children still dress up as witches at Easter for the Pagan traditions of some places like Sweden.
